eTrike, looking for a donor 3 wheeler now, finally realized that I do not have any bad places to ride and my spine is getting worse.
Been thinking of making a "differential" out of 2 freewheels( no reason it would not work) of course realizing the thing I want to build will be speed restricted to around 20 mph.
1. I Mortor front wheel( paralleled with main saddle batteries
2. Tdz 500-watt mid-drive
3. 3 wheel brakes
4. decent bright headlight and taillight
5.Plus size 26"tires
6.suspension seat
7.12-15 ah "saddle batteries for balance
There is a reason for the front motor, what does the group think?

Didn't know there was that many types, an upright conventional "trike" because my back injuries do not allow me to "lay" that way( anybody that thinks back injuries are not a "thing" is mistaken) -any suggestions?

Hate to resurrect an old thread, the things I have learned since the "babe in the woods" trike post
1. To have reasonable expectations( a cargo bike would have served me better)
2.The difference between "trike" types.
3.At first glance "Delta" seemed right, "Tadpole' style( or maybe sidecar bike) would have served me better the leaning trikes would have handled( for Me) better, the recumbents would have been too dangerous in these parts to use.
4.Thanks to all that tolerated my flights of fancy as the old sagacious Folks would say"Live and learn"

Those Pedego trikes are very nice. We have a Bunch dealer in the area and they sell the 3 wheel cargo ebikes, the ones with the big basket in front. They ride strange but don't feel dangerous, just different.
