Bought a used ICE Adventure 20 in very good shape, practically unused by previous owner. Took a bit of tweaking to get it comfortable but I completed a short ride without achy knees.
I’ve ordered a battery mount from Utah Trikes that allows a horizontal install on rear fork. Additionally I’ve ordered a Bafang 750 W BBS02 kit for a mid drive install.
Totally up the costs I’ve already exceeded the cost of purchasing a new trike with motor albeit of a lower quality. The install will run another $500-600 so I’m just about at the same price point of purchasing a new. Note to self, think it through next time.
