Tranzx M16 GTA Motor Bottom Bracket Lock Ring Thread Direction

I want to get a definitive answer on the thread direction of the bottom bracket lock ring on the Tranz M16GTA motor.
The bike is a Raleigh Sprite, 2018 model. Bikesupportspecialist dotcom (Alta Cycling Group LLC) tells me that a consensus of 6 teamates say it is "regular threaded", but they are working remotely and cannot check for 100% certainty.
I already bent a LunaCyle stamped metal Bafang tool hammering it Counterclockwise, Lefty Loosey. The new Park Tool wrench should hold up better, but after only a few degrees of rotation, I'm nervous because it doesn't appear to be loosening. Once I get a definite answer, I'll proceed, maybe with a 4 ft hunk of pipe on the wrench.
I see Moderator Court has a picture of one in "Electric Bike Mid Drive Motor Comparison" and I see it is threaded, but cant tell the direction.
Here's what the TranzX manual shows, along with saying it is a "Hollowtech 2 Screw" and should be tightened to 40 Nm, and I challenge them to show me a torque wrench that will fit (with the pedal shaft protruding). TranzxMotorRemoval.png

Well, the teamates at Bikesupportspecialist dotcom were wrong. It is left hand thread. They are sending a replacement lock ring because I probably damaged the original. Kudos to Mike there.
