Tow-along on an e-bike

Hi all i tried to use the search but could not see anything about this. I am looking to purchase a Juiced CCS and wanted to know if something like This would be able to attach to it so i can bring my 5 year old daughter along on rides. If not i guess something like This would suffice. These are just 2 examples and not necessarily the ones I would buy.

I toted my first kid on a 10 speed and one of those bike seats back when Jimmy Carter was beating on rabbits in his canoe. When Reagan came in, I used it for my 2nd kid until old Ronnie got senile. As the kids get big, they unbalance the bike a lot, but you know where the kid is. Mine had enough brackets to attach to a spartan 10 speed, which didn't have any of the bosses and screw holes for racks like we see on modern bikes.

Now I'm as old as Reagan was. Any e-bike can easily pull a trailer and I do with my grandkid, but you don't know if they jumped out or whatever because it's so easy to pull. I added an extra mirror to keep tabs on her. WIth a hubmotor, you have to take some care with the axle nuts. They're designed to hold with regular bike skewers or 10mm nuts. I don't know if the trailer attachment will allow a 12mm ebike nut. If the motor cable comes out on that side, it might also make the installation take longer. I use mine with a mid drive.

The pull-along is nice because it doesn't disturb the hub and will also develop bike skills but younger kids could fall off?

Yeah I really want the tow along for that purpose. My 5 year old can ride a bike well but obviously can't keep up. I want this for the purpose of longer trips in the summer and if she gets tired she can just stop pedalling.

If your 5 yo can ride, have a read of the other options

We bought one of those tow along half bikes , used it about 4/5 times - by the time a child is big enough to use one they are bored enough to not use one. A bored 5 yo has the strength to make those things SCARY !

I have one that I connected up to my bike. I was going to convert it into a trailer to haul things on until my grand daughter saw it and put an end to that idea for awhile.

I assume you are referring to a to trailer? I have an old double seated on of those but would like a tow-along instead as she likes to ride and move her legs.

I have one of the unit's you put on the back of your bike that a kid rides and peddles. Many are single wheel, mine has dual rear wheels. Would make a nice pull behind trailer. One day.

Ah I see, thanks for clarifying.
