torque specification?

I want to adjust the torque sensor on my new Easy Motion Evo Cross to hopefully correct some issues I'm seeing with the lower assist modes (I know, the shop I bought it from would do it, but they're closed right now and I want to learn). I'm looking at a BH document that specifies torque levels as:
3 x M6 : Max = 10,0+1,0Nm
2 x M3 : Max = 1,0+0,2Nm​
I think this is expressing torque ranges, i.e., 10Nm to 11Nm for the M6 and 1.0Nm to 1.2 Nm for the M3. Is that right? If that is a range, should I start at the low end of the range and test to see how well that works?

most vendors I have talked to advise NEVER touching the torque sensor as it is not designed to be user configurable.

You would need a well calibrated torque wrench to start with. I suggest you to take it a shop to adjust it. Over tightening may cause the system to reduce output current and the bike will feel underpowered. Also the sensor alignment is crucial. So better not to mess with it.

I will take it to the shop, but not for lack of confidence that I can follow basic directions just as well. I still intend to acquire a good torque wrench & necessary sockets so that than I manage this basic maintenance on my own. Any tips regarding my original query would be appreciated.
 
You'll require a very expensive torque wrench, actually I would be suprised if a bike shop had a wrench accurate to .1 Nm at a load of 1 Nm
