Hi guys and gals. I joined this forum because my Topstone was cutting out assist at 20 mph and literature was saying 28 mph was cutout.
I found out that the bike is a Canadian model which is set at 20 mph cutout. My LBS mechanic told me when I bought the bike that this was the case and that was the only bike available at the time due to the pandemic. Since I am as old as dirt I had forgotten that and just thought I couldn't put out enough watts anymore. There was all sorts of posts on how to fix this non-problem on the forum and I thought I would let people know that maybe they have the Canadian version. I love the bike it does everything I need. When people ask me what is your favorite ukulele I tell them my next one. I may have the same answer for bikes. I also have a synapse neo and was happy that the batteries are interchangeable so I can ride 100 miles + using turbo to my hearts content. All for now.
