I did not realize the Kiox setting for wheel size is in cm as the Kiox displays inches.
I now understand why the Kiox default is questionable after viewing a "Wheel Circumference" post from May, 2019.
This is something I been wanting to do. The best way is to load up your normal riding gear on your bike and have someone help you mark the position of the wheels as you sit on the bike. You need the weight of your ride to best determine your wheel circumference. See the video below and add what I wrote above. Input the measurements into your Kiox or Nyon display for an accurate output.
I saw that video when I googled calculating the tire circumference. I've done 6 rollouts and ended up with the same cm. My input in the Kiox is now significantly more than the default setting. This may be the reason why top speeds on rides have been below 28. I plan to drive one of the routes and compare the distance on the bike with the auto mileage. I'll see if I am close to the auto mileage with the revised setting on the Kiox.
