Which to buy? Do I need more tools? Mine broke and is stuck to on. Thank you so much anybody

Need to see the throttle and the connector it has (disconnected). Without that the only answer is to go to the original seller and pay what they want, which is likely to be about 5x what one would cost on the open market.

Dangit shoulda got a picture this morn. There were three wires when I disassembled to temporarily fix the issue. Black green and red. The cable goes all the way to the motor. I was hoping to buy replacement that has three wires, cut the cable and twist wires together and seal with electrical tape.

Well thats not good. Your typical throttle looks roughly like one of these (below). A thumb throttle or a twist grip, with a plug that is a male or female HIGO/water resistant plug, or a little cheapie snap-together JST style connector. And the wiring on these tends to be so wispy that you really don't want to be twisting wires together to re-make a connection. What you want is to be able to unplug and plug in a new one.
