Throttle on command

I have an Aventon Pace 500. I very much like this bike, but you have to peddle before the throttle kicks in. Is it possible to change it, and what does it involve?

Possibly in the display settings which usually also controls that aspect of the bike.

You can ask the Aventon forum but I believe it requires a different controller altogether, not just the display. I’ve not seen anyone do it.
