After offering my Trek Super Commuter 7 to a friend of a friend for a grand which I touted as a great deal he dragged his feet. Last week at the LBS I mentioned this To the manager and she suggested contacting Pro’s Closet which they are affiliated with. So I did and after filling out a questionnaire got a three-tiered quote. 1...credit on their site...a hundred less as credit at the LBS...the third a cash offer lower yet. I chose the store credit of $2140. The store takes care of inspecting and shipping which I had dreaded hence my original low ball to an individual.
I feel great knowing this fine bike Will soon be back on the road rather than gathering guano in my barn. My Allant had replaced it and now I want a smaller, less aggressive rider for friends.
