Suspension forks for light rider

Hello all, me again. So I got the old fork off my GT (a Marzocchi XC600) and I am looking for a steel fork I can use for a E conversion. I am 125lbs ready to ride so what fork can rebound and give under my weight? would It won't be safe with a rigid version? The riding will be on dirt road sans large rocks or any real terrain differences. The bike will be front wheel hub powered.
