My Specialized Vado 4.0 early model has a 3 LED tail light mounted on the fender. After a few years 2 of the 3 LEDs seem to have died. I tried to disassemble the miniature housing. Inside, after removing some silicon kit, I found a tiny print with 3 LEDs soldered on it. Seems to be nothing special, just ordinary LEDs. After a lot of mingling about I managed to remove the middle LED. But it appears to function as it should. There are also some even smaller diodes on the board. Maybe I'll try to replace them.

Cure: I soldered 3 LED's together in a string, put them in the housing with some mounting kit and succes!
