Happy holidays,
Sharing a short video snd some photos of a trip I did yesterday on my SC2 - it’s part of the Christchurch 360 Trail I’m undertaking this summer - 8 segments that circle the city and show the complete diversity of the environment around where I live. I hiked the first hilly 17km segment and then biked the second 19km section yesterday:

if you’re interested I’ve blogged about it in more detail here:

Start of the second segment of the trail at a busy beach where the first segment I hiked had finished.

This segment was all about estuaries and Marshes and this view captures some of that - the hills in the background (around 300-400m elevation) are part of the ridge line I had hiked along in the first segment.

Entrance to a local Māori Marae along the way

Finishing by a river trail with the sign showing the third segment of the trail about to start (not sure if I’ll hike or bike that one)
@peterh_nz you may enjoy this route!

Hope you’ve all managed to enjoy some holiday season riding
Cheers
Sam
