We have identified a possible manufacturing defect in the stem of a few Stromer ST5 which, as a precaution, makes it necessary to replace the stem at a specialist dealer.
All Stromer ST5s produced before February 6, 2019, are affected (VIN nos. TBNST5S700SJA0001 to TBNST5S700SKF0065). So far, however, we are only aware of isolated cases in which there has been a break in the stem.
For safety reasons and to ensure compliance with its high-quality standards, myStromer AG is recalling all Stromer ST5s for replacement. The owners are requested to discontinue use of their ST5 and to bring it immediately to their Stromer dealer so that he can make the stem replacement. A list of specialist dealers who can carry out the stem replacement can be found at www.stromerbike.com.
