Step-through + throttle + 30-40mph

Researching ebike speed is tricky because some ebike makers don't seem to want to directly publish maximum bike speed. I am after a low step design with a throttle and speed in the 30 mph range. A friend recently told me about the Sondors LX/Cruiser. Their specs state 28+. Turns out you can use the display to set max speed at 35! (and it really goes that fast) Does anyone know of other ebikes with a step-through design and throttle that can (without tuning/chipping) go 30+mph?

If you want to go that fast for any length of time, you'd be better off looking at an eMotorcycle. The faster you go, the more power it takes on an upward curve. High/max speed will suck an eBike battery dry quickly. You also need to be aware that setting the LX/Cruiser at above 28 MPH is illegal for road use in most jurisdictions unless you register it as a moped or motorcycle (requiring tags and insurance). That said, I have a LX on order.
