I think a lot of people that buy full suspension ebikes and are urban riding are going to end up with surprise maintenance costs for servicing the rear suspension and front forks. If they have to spend $100s every 5,000 miles to service the suspension they may start to understand why the marketing department and bean counters want everyone to think a suspension is essential on an ebike. Obviously on a high end mtn ebike it's critical but for urban riding I simply think wider tires and maybe a seat post suspension are a better choice.
