ST2-S Light - Is it removable?

So I've been reading a few posts on local bike forums where people have had rear/front lights stolen off their bike.

At the time of purchase I didn't really consider anyone stealing my front/rear lights on my ST2-S as I didn't really place much value on them and who could be bothered taking them but it seems people do.

So a question since I don't have the bike as yet, can the front headlight be removed easily? is it just something that clicks off and I can place it in my bag or would it require tools for removal in which case someone might still attempt to take it breaking it in the process.

Bike will be in a locked room where I work but that doesn't stop people trying.

It is not easily removable.
However, the light on that bike costs $500+ and currently OEM only.
You better keep it in a secure place.

It's integrated into the bike though right? so if someone took it, it would be worthless to them yeah?

$500 seems pretty steep for a light, more than I thought it would cost, was thinking maybe $150-200, if I was to remove it myself it doesn't impact on the bike at all?

It's not easy to remove the light unless you cut the cable!
It is connected to the OMNI module inside and is driven by the firmware for intelligent lighting (automatic brightness control!)
Someone can easily cut the wire and but it takes a few minutes to remove it from the handlebar.
It is one of the best lights you can buy for EV or E-bikes. In high setting, it is more powerful than a car headlight.

Yeah sounds great, a little plug on the light so I could remove it easily surely wouldn't have been too hard though saves me having to try and replace it when it eventually will get stolen.

If ya think it sounds pretty steep, you sure ya got the st2s? Thats pretty steep too. but both are " ya get what ya pay for" steep.If it is as bright as pictures show relative to st2, I would say its priceless.; My eyesight is not that good, and I've got a substantial stream light flashlight strapped to fork leg, doubles my light capacity and allows me to ride top speed at night, but it sucks through pricey cr123 batteries pretty quick. I inquired to supernova directly(not looking to by-pass stormer, or their dealers, btw) and was told "I'm sorry Barry, it is not technically possible" Might not be, and if nothing else, it might be considered too ugly to steal, but check out your velo insurance, I don't remember how that part of insurance worked, you might be pleasantly surprised. Plus, a bigger concern for me and easier, bigger money item would be the battery. And, imo, messing around unloosing allen heads would be slower and as conspicuous as cutting lock and grabbing bike.
I use my electronic lock and a super wazoo folding abus and back that up with common sense and Velo. quick, easy way to secure bike.
Worth mentioning, a huge majority of harleys are lifted into trucks when stolen. abus cures that, gps backs that up, and velo handles it when those two fail. I will give a shout out to folding abus combination , switchblade speed, and hold tight for 1000 miles in bottle holder spot, and I no longer have to decide fighting huge heavy u-lock, chain lock bouncing around, every different lock you can imagine or just jamming in and jamming out of store or wherever. cause locks take so long to mess with for me.

Exact.

I expect, stolen lights from bikes are mostly these add-ons, often child-toy or bling-bling stuff. Not only - as Ravi mentioned - the 99Pro is without a switch but controlled by the Stromer firmware. The required power supply is also challenging. Before you search for the Inbus key and cut some wires: The tiny device next to the stem might attract "unauthorized" persons much more.
