When a corporation starts buying out there distributorships or LBS it's never good in the long run for the average consumer.
I was involved in this in the mid 2000's here in the states with a corporation who decided they could better run and service a long
running sales and service Distibutor in a business that shall remain nameless. What I can tell you is after sitting in countless
meeting and looking at more data than I care to mention everything looked like a win win for everyone. Well I can tell you now
after almost 15 years later, this corporation is no longer trading on the stock market and because of the disasterious customer service
and product quality that ensued has lost most of it's clients. You see it's really all about the money, yes you may hear that this will be better and
rosy, but in realty it may hurt most of us commoners. I have no affiliation with Specialized or there network just sharing my experience. I do love my
Specialized products if that count for anything. Sorry for the length
