SpaceX launched its latest prototype rocket Wednesday and reached its highest altitude to date, but the test flight ended in a massive fireball when the spacecraft attempted to land.
They didn't really expect to land it. One engine failed and there was not enough thrust to decelerate the landing. That they put it up there and then 'flew' it back to the pad was pretty impressive.
Musk is a wild and crazy guy but the SOG gets things done. I cannot wait for his starlink internet service to reach full potential. Talk about a boon for society!
