Another 50 pound high-power eMTB.

I wonder why am I not excited.

One of my colleagues' husband had an 80nm eMTB-- I think some kind of CF Canyon Spectral ON-- and approached me about whether or not I wanted to buy it. It was 45 pounds or so, and I said it was too similar to the bike I already had, even if it did have twice as much grunt. Wondered why he was selling it.

He said it was just too much power for technical trails, felt like it was too dangerous and took a lot of the fun out of the sport for him, he was going back to acoustic riding. I get it. He's about 20 years younger than me.
