Really stupid question alert: I cannot navigate the Shimano STEPS website at all. I tried to use the "service locator" to find a location anywhere in the US and came up with nothing. It's just one of those intensely irritating 21st century websites that doesn't return results.
I do not need to have a STEPS motor serviced now. I just want to know where I would get it serviced when it does need service.
I also want to know if it's possible to replace an E5000 with a more powerful motor, and answer other routine questions.
I bought an e-Bike with a STEPS motor that is now being assembled at my LBS, and I know Shimano has a good reputation, but I'm a little freaked out at how opaque their website is. There must be service centers in the United States.
