Shimano STEPS Service and Upgrade

Really stupid question alert: I cannot navigate the Shimano STEPS website at all. I tried to use the "service locator" to find a location anywhere in the US and came up with nothing. It's just one of those intensely irritating 21st century websites that doesn't return results.

I do not need to have a STEPS motor serviced now. I just want to know where I would get it serviced when it does need service.

I also want to know if it's possible to replace an E5000 with a more powerful motor, and answer other routine questions.

I bought an e-Bike with a STEPS motor that is now being assembled at my LBS, and I know Shimano has a good reputation, but I'm a little freaked out at how opaque their website is. There must be service centers in the United States.

Fantastic answer, thanks!

I'm hoping the E5000 meets my needs for many years to come. I'm just wondering if, and how, I'll be able to get it serviced, and if I needed to replace it in a few years, when I'm even older and more feeble, if there was any chance it was a straight swap with another more powerful motor-- I know the 6100 wouldn't fit, not sure about the 6000. I'm guessing none of them are straight swaps. If the 6000 was a swap, I probably wouldn't like it anyway, less range than the 6100 or the 5000, I think.

And yes, this is not something I'd try to do myself.

Welding? Uh, no. If you ever see me holding a soldering iron, don't wait until I do anything with it, just call the fire department immediately.
