We were watching my 5 Y.O. daughter at her BMX race and struck up a conversation with another parent. This gentleman, designed and patented an awesome self-loading bike rack the is perfect for e-bikes. I was very impressed.

It is interesting. I went to the site hoping to see more, like the bikes in position to drive away and security measures and locks. I was curious to see these things and how it might look on my pickup truck. Hopefully more videos and info are coming to the site.

Interesting.....do you know how it's powered (battery or wired to the vehicle)?

7 prong RV style plug. The rack has lights on it too. There is a battery option as well I`m told.

I wonder what the weight limit is.

It is a little more than I would want to spend on a rack, but I can see how this would be a game changer for people who have difficulty lifting a heavy ebike.

It won't hurt it. The wheel is designed to take a lot more weight than that while you are riding it. Although I would strap it to the rack by both wheels so that it doesn't bounce.

No way would I want to place all the weight on the front tire. Not even a step at the bottom of the rear tire to take some of the weight. What about the side to side motion when turning a corner, all the stress goes against the tire or rim side?
Bikes don't seem to be perpendicular to the ground. Top support bar is centered on rack and the bottom is offset to the right. I guess so the handlebars don't clash?
I thought my Thule at $550 was steep. Not for me. Thinking outside the box for sure.
