Sealed Lead-Acid SLA, charging regimen?

Is it okay to leave my bike on charge overnight or more? Is this safe for SLA batteries (Powerline PL12-12)

It depends on your battery charger and whether it was intended to be used with your battery. A regular car charger, for example, might keep pumping in excess current on a small SLA. I used to have a car that used small SLA's. They were touchy. Used to have a buy a new battery every Spring.

Why not just put a timer on the charger so that if you forget, it won't go all night.

How long will fully charged battery hold its charge?

My charger is original izip charger.

Battery University says an SLA battery loses 5% a month, if nothing is connected to it.
