That kind of pedal forward bike really takes some core muscles. It's tough to get the same leg power as the conventional geometry. The particular one must be tough to keep the saddle tight with all the cantilever to the front!
You need recumbent legs that true but it’s the same as bike legs. I debated in a crank forward bike before e-bikes happened but I already had a long wheel base or I may have done it. Easier for deal with then moat recumbents.
Terrain I normally ride requires that I get my butt up off the seat on occasion. I don't see that happening very easily here. Other than that, I like the looks of this thing.

No, that's not the deal at all. Imagine riding over a 4-6" log you didn't see in time to avoid. Does you butt stay planted on the seat, or do you stand to let your legs take the shock? Not much question what most would do (if possible).
