Riese & Muller Tinker Hill climbing?

I want to by a electric bike for my 15 year old daughter who weighs 110 lbs. She need to drive to work about three miles away and we live on big hills. I wanted to get a bike that will help a lot going up the hills. I was wondering if the tinker has good power to help her up the hills? Any insight would be helpful. Brian

15 year old? $6000 bike? Doesn't sound like a good combination under any circumstances.
How steep are your hills? Can't do a lot of climbing in three miles unless you're going almost straight up! (exaggerating...).
What else have you considered?

its a bosch powered bike its will climb great.

It depends on the model of the Tinker. I believe the pre 2020 model comes with the performance line cx motor and it's a great choice for hill climbing. It also gets to the 20mph top speed real quick, like in 3-4 secs. However, the recent Tinker models come with the active line plus motor and this is considerably weaker.

Here is a review by Court, with Chris from Propel, on the Tinker. Nice little bike, great Bosch motor drive system, Gates Carbon Belt drive, Enviolo hub. The Enviolo won't be the mountain goat that the more expensive Rohloff would be, but it should get your daughter to and from, quite nicely. I would be more concerned with her putting the bike away at work, where it will assuredly be in a secure spot, out of the weather. Good luck and let us know how she makes out, commuting with it.
