Another satisfied fat tire ebiker! I don't think I can go back to my 700X40c road bike after +2 years with the range, power, speed, all terrain capabilities, and flexibility of having my Radrover.
Riding in snow can be a real pain. Frozen snow can be horribly rough if others have gone before. Especially if trying to ride on pavement after people have walked in it. It's like riding on cobblestone, but worse! Fat tires really kick up the slush and that little front fender will do little to keep the water and slush off you. Snow on ice feel slicker than ice and has delivered several hidden close calls. But a few inches of powder is a dream to ride in. Around here that happens about twice a year. The rest of my snow adventures each year are just plain frustrating!
