Range extender: Alternate mounting locations?

Reposting this from the Orbea forum because Cannondale ebikes use the eBikeMotion system, and someone here may be have valuable input.

I have an Orbea Gain with eBikemotion. I plan to take it on some longer adventures. I like keeping the down tube and seat tube mounts for hydration. I would like to mount (or carry) the Range Extender elsewhere, and I'm open to ideas. Not a ton of mounting eyelets on this bike. But even if I had more mounting locations - say for example I put on a touring front fork with eyelets. The cord that runs from the extender into the charging port on the bike is very short - the perfect length for where the manufacturer decided it should be mounted, but nowhere else. Sooo...does anyone know if the manufacturer makes an extension cable? I've searched online and can't find anything. Seems like a very useful accessory, and should be fairly easy for them to make. If not, any DIY home-brew ideas to rig something up using a spare charging cord?

It would obviously be easier to mount the second water bottle elsewhere…there are single and double water bottle mounts that fit to the saddle rails, and others - even insulated ones - that fit on the handlebars so you can sip on a skinny latte as you ride…sorry I didn’t respond earlier, I have an Orbea not a Cannondale.

And spare charging cords are gold dust. Check the price of an Ebikemotion charger. They should be 10 bucks, but are 120.

Searching for extension cord for Mahle extender battery. We just got 2 Mahle ebikemotion powered Cannondale bikes. My wife is riding a Treadwell Neo Remixte. It was not designed to accommodate an extender battery. If mounted on the seat tube, the cord is a few inches too short to connect. I did purchase a

MAHLE Smartbike Systems Extension Wire for GCU.

However, it appears this cord is only for upgrading. In checking the cord, only 3 of the 4 pins on the connectors show continuity between the the connectors on each end. I am wondering about a diy attempt to operate on the connectors and connect the unconnected pins. Any suggestions for getting a functional extension cord greatly appreciated.
I have contacted both Mahle and Cannondale about an extension cord. Very unsatisfactory responses so far. Both directing me to the other and no one ready to take responsibility. It seems a bit incomprehensible that neither one of these companies will do the right thing and make a silly little cord which would add significant functionality (and help sell more bikes and $600 batteries).
I’d love to hear about alternatives or DIY options.

You could cut the connector off your external battery and then from your battery charger and splice the longer cord from the charger onto your battery and put the short one on your charger.

ID the connectors and you can find a wiring solution, or have one made.
