Raleigh Sprite IE vs. IZIP E3 Vibe Plus

After reading and watching the reviews for both of these bikes, they seem identical. The IZIP is less expensive. I am an out of shape, short, overweight woman who has always loved bikes, but cannot handle even the slightest incline. I will need to be able to get it onto my bike rack so I can putter around the state park while we are campground hosting there. I would like a class 2 bike. Appreciate any input on these, or other similar models. Thanks from hilly northeastern PA!

Both will work fine for your use. If you remove the battery, it's easy to lift up the bike and place it on your camper rack.
You could also add a Boost button for $50 and make use of that "throttle" feature and then it will be true class 2 bike.

My wife is also short, has both of those bikes, and I can tell you that with or without a battery, unless you are very strong you will have trouble lifting either of them onto your rack by yourself. That is the issue with most all full sized ebikes. As far as riding goes, you will be able to ride either one, and with the addition of the above-mentioned booster you can ride the hills with ease, or, just raise the PAS level. Neither bike has suspension, but they both ride well. The mid drive motor has plenty of power and they are pre-wired for lights. The price difference is only about $100 or less depending upon where you buy it.

Decided on the IZIP E3 Vibe+. It is currently on sale for $1499 directly from the manufacturer with free shipping. I added the boost button for $50 and can't wait!

That's a good price. You will be happy you ordered the booster. Let us know how you like the bike.

Congrats on your new wheels! Can’t wait to hear how you like it.
I’m in a similar situation as far as lifting these beasts onto a rack. I found a Saris hitch rack that has wheel trays. It’s only maybe 18” off the ground so that helps. Don’t let anyone tell you loading these ebikes is easy, with or without the battery.

Greetings. Thanks so much. Yes, they are not a light bike by any means. I own a 2013 Izip Express - heavy but fast and covers the hills here in Blue Ridge Mountains without a problem. Bike suppose to arrive by March 22nd. Trying to get the wife back into biking !

Cool bike! Did those lights on the spokes come with the bike?
