Raise handlebars?

I promise I did a search before I posted. I need to raise my handlebars. I think 4" will suffice. If you have done it please give a detailed explanation. Thanks

I added a raised position by adding bar ends. That’s one easy way. Otherwise a taller stem is about the only way I know of to get 4” out of it.

I've seen various Ride1up bikes that have raised handlebars, but I don't recall seeing any with bar ends. I actually like bar ends because I like to move my hands from the grips to the bar ends and back as I ride. It helped with preventing numbness in my little finger, although later raising my handlebars helped as well. Here are some relevant posts in the Ride1Up Facebook group:
