It has been in the back of my mind already but the discussion on Endless Sphere on the Frey AM 1000 thread has brought it to the forefront. I just don't think it logical or fair that people expect to do everything on a 60 lb ebike that they do on a non motorized bike and not ever crack a frame or blow out a bearing. Do these things not happen to acoustic MTB bikes? I think they do.
