I see the Rad website doesn’t offer tubes for my new Rover. Is that because they never get flat tires?😊 Where do people get replacement tubes?

Amazon is where I got mine. I would avoid buying from Rad anyway due to their high shipping costs. They wanted $15 to send me a set of brake pads. I bought them on Amazon.

Amazon for replacement tubes for my two 2016 Radrovers for $15 - $30 each. Haven't seen much of a difference in quality between the Mongoose, Zol, Vee tire, or Kenda fat tire tubes. I usually get Mongoose 26X4 because of the cheaper price. I also added Mr. Tuffy liners and two 2-oz bottles of Stans tire sealant to each tire.

Worry about when u get your flat? Tubes are easy to find, even Canadian Tire has if you live in canada lollll😆 anywhere else😁 but depends whrre u ride,as long your not smashing logs or sidewalks you should be ok,iv had a bicycle for40 years changed 2 tires because they wore out lolllll i was debating myself over a rover you think its a heavy bike? Weight wise?😊😆😁

The Radrover is only 5-7 lbs more than a Radcity and weighs less than a Radwagon. The Radrover just looks like a heavy/bulky tank of an ebike because of the thicker frame and fat tires. The fat tires do change how the ebike maneuvers because of the additional rolling mass. Never felt like the Rover was unsafe, unsteady, or dangerous at downhills speeds of 25-28 mph. I do lean more to turn like a motorcycle on my Rover at higher speeds compared to being upright to steer into a turn with my lighter 30lbs 700X40c bike. The Rover does take up A LOT of real estate and is bulky if you need to store in a tight spot, can be a challenge to pick-up and load on a rack/inside a vehicle, and you need to supersize bike rack trays, tires/tubes, fenders, and rear bike racks/bags.

I work commute and store my Rover on the 2nd floor of my building (keep out of the weather and charge). I usually take the elevator up; but, it was down for few days for repairs. It was extremely easy to push the Rover up a flight of stairs with the throttle (pretty much drove itself up the stairs using the throttle). At the end of the day, I always walk the powered off Rover down the back fire escape riding the brakes.

Is there anything special about the Kenda one for Ebikes? or is this mongoose one basically the same as the Kenda one from Rad?
I've tried both Kenda and Mongoose tubes and didn't really see a difference? The four tubes I've tried all performed about the same with longevity and how resistant to puncher. I improved longevity by 5X with OEM tires when I added Mr. Tuffy+Stans tire sealant; but, still had about 1 flat a month with 250 miles avg (A LOT of goat head stickers and occasional road debris). I usually had to change out my tube a few times a year from getting too many holes to patch when Stans wasn't enough.

My flats went waaaay down to 1-2 per year when I upgraded to Vee8 120tpi 26X4 tires with Mr. Tuffy+Stans. The OEM Kenda tires had less knobbies and the tire was very thin between them, where 100% of my flats occured. The Vee8 had more knobbies to make for a thicker tire, less "killer bees" road noise, 3X longer treadlife, and had better max speed stability/traction compared to the OEM Kenda. The OEM Kenda lasted around 1000 miles; while, the Vee8 were closer to 2500-3000 miles (with rotation).

I just checked the price of the Kenda tube on Amazon: $50! Cdn. Yikes! That’s as much as the tire. I think I will be investing in a couple of patch kits!

Would 2 for 25 bucks work for you? Just received a pair yesterday.

The only 20x4 left in stock on amazon are the ones that arent 20x4 exact size, but 20x4.25 which will fit our 20x4 tires.

The small discrepancy does not matter, my stock tires are 20x4 and came with 20x4.20 inner tubes...which I have tried both 20x4.25 and 20x4 inner tubes, which they both have fit fine.

Anyways here are the 20x4.25 Stingray Inner Tubes, I have these exact tubes in my 20x4 fat tire ebike right now with a few hundred miles on the tube with no issues. I linked single tubes, but they have the option for a 2pack if needed.
