I'm looking to get bike for trail and urban riding...looking for a bike with 28mph capability and a throttle option. Any suggestions?

Can you offer more details such as price range, expected travel distance, and perhaps percentage of trail riding as compared to urban riding. In other words, is this going to be your daily commuter to the office on paved surfaces with the occasional Saturday ride in the woods. This will help us narrow the list down for you.

I'm look at no more than 4k, I'm just looking for a bike for weekend rides on the roads and light trails.

Not sure Haibike will have throttle options. But at a 4K limit you should have a lot of good options. Might check out Ohm's offerings.
