Hi All,
I know we are all keen to protect our prized bikes - I came across https://project529.com/ today and whilst it has its origins in North America, it's supported by my local police in Christchurch - New Zealand! Very surprising indeed.
Anyway, I've registered my bikes with it now - hoping I never have to use it if they're stolen. There is even support for the sticker "shield" at some local bike shops so I'll be heading out to get some of those once the shops open from the long weekend here and public holiday.
I do note this Project 529 was first mentioned in this forum by @steve mercier in this thread:
I'm sharing it here with a more obvious title for others to find and register if interested.
I'm also curious if anyone has lost a bike and had any success with it being returned using this project?
Cheers
Sam
