I'm happy enough with the 15.5mph limit. Having the higher limit would put me above what I used to achieve as a casual though enthusiastc cyclist. At my current level of fitness it gives me far more than I could have hoped for.
Once rolling on the flats the weight of the bike is not too noticeable and I get the advantage of it on the down hills, not just in the momentum but the stability it seems to offer.
My Daughter is my only bench mark at present due to the social distancing rules we have in place. Will be nice to see how it messures up when I can eventually join in with some of the club rides.
Dispite my weakness at the moment I will cruise past her on the hills, so its only fair I have to work so hard to stay with her at 18-20mph on the flats.
It certainly would be good if you could calibrate the maximum assist speed, certainly for matching the avere pace of group rides.
I've no doubt I will play with the individual power setting for each level as I get stronger just so I can keep improving. Get up the steep long stuff far easier than I ever used to on max settings as it is. Perhaps if I begin to surpass my old fitness levels I may start wishing for that higher speed limit.
