Hi, what thoughts would any members have on this issue?
Both bikes purchased together December 2019, the plastic that holds the magnets has broken away on both bikes now back at dealers for repairs, 🤫

That ring appears to be fairly well protected. USUALLY, those rings are damaged by errant sticks and such. Anything is possible I suppose, but I can't imagine damage like that occuring without being struck somehow. What kind of terrain/conditions do you find yourself riding in? High pressure washer maybe?

Thank you for your reply, because they are folding bikes with 20inch wheels we only cycle on roads or cycle paths, it’s strange it’s happened to both, never use pressure washer only hose pipe n bucket of water.

Probably poorly made plastic. Lots of that going around with 'printed' plastics as opposed to solid nylon or typical wear critical plastics.

Check the folding process and see if something is coming through the frame. Looks like it lines right up with the gap above the bottom bracket.
