My new shirt is to help raise awareness of Parkinson's Disease, and to promote a "Badass" approach to dealing with PD.

I have a tremor, but NOT Parkinson's. I get asked about it a lot the last few years, so public awareness is coming along... slowly.
Sorry to hear that it affects you, but admire the attitude you show.

Thanks, I have found that staying physically active, and keeping a positive attitude, go a long way.

Thank you, being diagnosed with PD is what prompted me to get an e-bike.
How long ago ? I don't remember, but it was a while ago that I noticed your posts. I have a feeling ( but no proof ) that ebiking is really good therapy for most things if you can stay with it.
I hope so, anyway.

Good approach! The correlation between positive patient attitudes and positive outcomes is well established in medicine. And "laughter is the best medicine" is more than just a saying. So keeping a sense of humor about symptoms and challenges is also a good idea.

I've had my share of major medical adventures, and I can confirm this from personal experience. On a practical level, quite sure that I get better care by joking around with my docs, nurses, aides, therapists, techs, etc.

As you probably know, cycling has proven benefits in Parkinson's:

Elsewhere on the forum, someone posted this stunning example in an advanced case of freezing gait:
