After months of waiting for the Yukon 750 from Volt Bike they apologized for delay and sent invoice. I paid the invoice but have not received any communication on delivery. They won’t answer the phone or respond to emails. Anybody have a secret on how to get my bike.
thanks

Looks like a decent buy at 1800 and it says they are backlogged and shipping takes 4-5 weeks. I would send an email letting them know unless you hear back in 24 hrs you are going to start the process that Trekker outlines above. No excuse for not communicating.

How long ago did you pay the invoice? Secret? Yeah, stay calm. All eBike companies have scrambled to handle demand and shipping delays like never before in their short history. If you can't stand the wait for communication, you are really going to hate the shipping time. Nothing is like it used to be.

I paid with PayPal. I guess PayPal guarantees money back. I prefer not to do that but if I don’t hear within the PayPal time guarantee I might take action. I was okay with the 3 months it took from order to invoice because they told me no

Again, how long ago did you pay the invoice?

I was okay with the 3 months it took from order to invoice because The credit card didn’t go through. But then after 3 months they sent invoice and I paid via paypal per their instructions. I am a little more nervous now that I paid money. I respect backlog but they really should answer concerns. Sounds like the beginning of poor customer service. I suspect once they tell me it shipped it will take another month. Maybe it will get here for Christmas

Pay Pal has been great for my wife's ability to protect herself from off shore vendors. I would begin a claim in the Resolution Center stating you have emailed but received no response. If no tracking # has been issued the Vendor has probably not received their funds from you. PayPals EULA and policy's seem to change constantly but I do know the Resolution center puts PayPal in your transaction as an observer.

I would have thought you knew exactly when you paid for the invoice since the no communication has become a real sticking point for you. But if it's been 2 weeks I would not be getting upset yet. But if 10 weeks ago I would contact PayPal.

I can't imagine not getting at least a generated email thanking me for my purchase. I might even expect a brief missive explaining how backed up things are , we will notify, blah, blah.

My own policy that has served me well on eBay or Reverb is, if I don't hear from the seller in 48 hours I begin a Resolution case file with PayPal. I have only required a full refund a two times but it is, to the seller, the ultimate messaging that he needs to not drag his feet. Remember if the seller does not make contact after being notified by PayPal a dispute has been initiated, they will stop the sale for you, or at least in the one case I had like that they did. My actual experience is a quick response from the seller and a completed deal, 98% of the time.

He already made the purchase months ago, he's just upset they didn't give him shipping information when he fully paid for the bike after it got here from China. My paraphrasing anyway.

I was lucky to have got my eBikes a year ago. There was zero problems paying for and getting the product. Not sure if I would have jumped on the bandwagon if they became difficult to get. I mean if I survived all these years without an eBike I would hope I could waite out the frenzy.

I just needed a way to get exercise during the pandemic and could not find anything local. I watched a couple of XP reviews and one guy said he even lost 10 lbs since he started ebiking. I have gained about 5

Your post just made me realize how important these bikes are for coping with Covid19. Easy for me to say I wouldn't try to get an eBike having had one pre-Covid. Pretty insensitive post on my part, sorry. Not only does the bike offer healthy outside time but also tons of time researching destinations, range improvement, etc. So for all the folk waiting, spend this time planning on places to go and enjoy them. :)

Today Voltbike posted pictures on Instagram of 40 bikes ready to go out. They are really hopping.

Hi
I bought a Voltbike Yukon Limited 750 three months ago using my credit card on their Website, I quickly received an order acknowledgement and an eta of 8 to 10 weeks for delivery, it took 9 weeks, the owner George call me to say the bike was ready for shipping and do I need anything else.
Bike arrived in perfect condition 7 days later within Canada.
I’m very impressed with this bikes quality
Cheers
