Hi Everyone,

So I have been researching for months, trying out a few models and trying to convince myself and my wife that this is the future. To be honest we were hooked almost immediately we tried our first one and I am totally convinced this is the future of biking and commuting. So much so that I have purchased these instead of buying a 2nd car for my small commute. So just ordered two new Stromers (ST2 and ST2S) and take delivery in a couple of weeks. Can't wait and looking forward to updating everyone on progress. Oh and just to say we live on the beautiful island of Jersey next to the French coast to the south of the UK so if anyone else out there wants to meet up for a ride that would be great.

Glad to be on the EBR forums....

Cheers
Mark

Those are top notch ebikes. Test rode a couple and they feel like the Swiss Cadillac of ebikes. So solid and a nice nimble ride. Please keep us posted on your progress. More fun and excitement abounds.

Well nearly one year on with my Stromer ST2s and enjoyed every minute of ownership. It hasn't been without issue but the machine itself has performed so well I really can't fault it. It still makes me smile every day and gets me out into the countryside much more than I would without it. The commute is now easy and I'm in work in 12 minutes from home with a brisk ride along the coast bike path so I can't complain. I had my first bike accident in 30 years but was entirely my fault not knowing the local road and ran into a kerb at high speed! My Stormer came out with a snapped brake lever and scrapped rear rack but that was it, he is bulletproof! Me on the other hand...cracked ribs and scrapes and cuts, lol.
So looking forward to another year and with my wife also having one we plan some longer trips to france this year. We have already done a short day trip over on the ferry which was great so I'm sure more long term trips will be coming up. Just trying to think about some decent pannier sets to compliment that idea.

Stats for the year:

1,798 miles
Ride time 97.35 hours
Average Speed 18MPH
