Follow up Q guys,

When running with 0 assist. Will it be okey if I just DO NOT turn on the tcu?
or
The tcu needs to be turn on when riding the bike, just place the assist to zero?

you can ride the bike completely turned off. you just won’t get any data output, or odometer accumulation, etc. otherwise no difference than riding with the electronics turned on but the motor/assist turned off.

The odometer wouldn't work, and that will keep you unaware as to your Creo mileage, making planning of maintenance actions hard.
