My LT Thudbuster recently developed some snap, crackel, and pop sounds that sounded like the seat was going to snap right off. I attribute it to a downpour I got caught in. I mean a gully washer. The streets were even flooded. I tried spraying Tri- flow which helped a little but still had substantial noises. I ordered a new one, and those dreadful creaks and groans are history. I'm ordering a rebuild kit and completely dismantling and lubing old one and putting it on my Scott Hybrid. I suggest carrying some sort of bag that will go over seat and Thudbuster when caught in a downpour.
