Welcome to EBR. There are several builders on here, some pro and some just for themselves, and there is an advanced forum just for those who have questions about builds and kits, motors and batteries, and troubleshooting if you are looking to build.

And there are many who bought a direct to consumer brand b/c it made sense financially even though they could have built one.

I bought from a bike shop since I hadn't touched a bike in decades.
