New Vado 5.0 won't pair with MC App on iphone 13 pro

Hi,
The bike and app seem to "see" each other. The bike generates a code that the app sees. The app and bike both say "connecting" and then it seems to time out and disconnect. Is this a known issue with a solution?

I’ve had mine since September, if I remember, when you see the code you have to confirm with either the plus or minus button, don’t remember which one , it should be on the bike screen,then it will show the serial number of your bike, then it will pair,

It took me a few tries to get the app and bike to pair. Make sure bluetooth is on and location services are on, also check the mission control app settings for the same.

In the end I restarted my phone and they connected.

That worked! Pressing the + sign was a detail Specialized left out. Connection was instantaneous!

I even think the TCD-w2 display shows that information for you during the pairing!

I read the manual and went to Support on the website. Seems like an omission not to have it in those places

After you Create an Account, you'll need to add your first bike. To do so, turn the bike on, click on the Add Bike button and follow the prompts to pair your bike.

MasterMind TCU bikes: Your bike will automatically connect to the app. Touch "pair" on your phone and "+" on the bike's remote to confirm.
The connected bike's serial number will appear and the screen will display "Connected" in green.
