Hey everyone, name is Blaise. I bought my Rockstar in March of last year didn’t get it till October of that year and unfortunately by the time it came in I had just had shoulder surgery a week before it came in. With shoulder rehab I just rode it the first time last week and the bike is awesome it was fast and jumped well. I do have a question that hopefully someone could help me with, is there a way of not having the motor shut down when you shift gears

Welcome to EBR Blaiseone. I don't have a Rockstar but do have a couple of thoughts.

One is that I'll bet there is a way to bypass motor cut out. Second is I'll bet that you won't want to in the long run.

YouTube poster "Simple Pleasures" put out his first vid on the Rockstar with one of his buddies breaking a chain as a result of a bad shift on his first ride.

There is a dedicated thread on EBR where a lot of owners post if you use the search feature. I'll bet many of them can give great first hand info.
