New Stromer ST5 Battery Ejection Issues?

Hello Stromer Friends.
Well, I just bought an ST5. Total dream machine. No issues yet, except the battery ejection does not work. The menu comes up and when I press the "Battery Eject" in the lower right-hand corner, I do hear a click. Then I press the side button, to eject, and nada.
Just wondering if that sounds familiar to anyone?

The dealer is closed until Tuesday, so I thought I'd see if anyone else solved this problem. I can still charge the battery while its on the bike. Unfortunately, I cannot transport the bike, as I cannot get the battery out.

I'd much rather have a battery ejection problem then "my-whole-motor-died" problem. . . or dare I type it . . . flat tyre.

Many blessings . . . remain calm and ride on!!!

UPDATE: Everyone that responded gave excellent answers. . . thank you. It turns out "Insider" was correct. I didn't realize how much force you had to put on the down tube button in order to eject the battery. It is not a soft touch. However, the other inputs were super helpful and good information to know. I will now be more vigilant when putting the battery in and taking it out. I typically only remove it if transfer is necessary. Thanks to all!

Someone had the exact same issue and wrote about it here. It turned out his bike was not registered and as a result, the battery would not open up.
Once he registered his bike, got the correct PIN, his issue was resolved.

Are you sure you pushed hard enough on the ejection botton (use your thumb) after hearing the eject click? Also try pushing the battery door close while you eject, to unload any tension that may keep the battery latch from letting go completely.

After you re-insert the battery - make absolutely sure you can turn on the bike BEFORE you close the battery door.

If the battery rosenberger connector is not seated securely and you close the battery door, you will not be able to turn on the bike or eject the battery. The bike may need to be disassembled to get the battery to seat properly again.

If this happens (because you put the battery too soft into the downtube), you must connect the charger directly to the bike. Then you push the display for a long time - and follow the upcoming instructions on the screen.
