new scorpion x will not power on

Greetings from a new member. I purchased a juiced scorpion x which arrived 2 days ago. I am brand new to the ebike world. The assembly was easy and I charged the battery overnight with the battery removed. The charger light was red which was then green yesterday morning. Last night I inserted the battery which turns on ok showing a green light. After holding the power button on the controller for 3 seconds nothing happens. The horn does not work, nor the brake light and head light. The recommended procedure in this case by juiced bikes is to check the cable connections especially the 1-4 cable connection. I checked them all by disconnecting, then connecting them again to ensure they were completely connected. The battery terminals look great and the battery when inserted has not play at all.
I have contacted juiced by email describing the issue but I will not hear back from them until tomorrow at a minimum. I will try to call them. I am in Oregon and the ebike came from CA. I am hoping there is a simple resolution to this issue or an easy way to diagnose the problem.

Has anyone experienced this right out the box? Any advice will be appreciated.

Do you have a volt meter? Sometimes a new bike will slightly overcharge when left overnight. For safety the system will not work. Does the bike have a USB port? Such as under the display? If the bike is slightly overcharged use a USB fan to safely and slowly take down the overage. Check the red power switch on the battery. Turn it off and then turn on the display three times to clear things. Then turn on the battery and try again. Another thing is sometimes a brass pin inside a connector is bent. This happens all the time. If so, carefully align it with a needle.

Thank you for the reply and possible solutions. I have a volt meter and will check the volts. There is a USB port which I plugged my phone cable into and there was no power to the phone. Its been 24 hours so maybe its worth another try after testing the current volts. I did check the little brass pins and all looked good. The display on the controller does not light up if that helps clarify the issue. Thanks again....I will give an update if it gets resolved.

Check the output of the battery itself. Weird.

Juiced bike battery has some design problems. The battery gets loose or don't really fit to the battery base. I feel your problem is similar. If like that then ask for replacement e-bike

Multimeter shows 3.49 volts. I plugged the charger in again and noticed a green light on the charger, but when I jiggled the three prong out going cord connection from the charger the light turned red a split second then goes back to green. This may suggest a bad cord or charger. By the way the battery fits very snug in the bike with no play at all and the connections are pristine

3.5 volts is very weird. If the BMS has shut itself down as a safety breaker nothing would show, zero volts. The charger should be fine - it is easy to check its output. At this point ask for a refund, or a new bike. It should not arrive as a dud. If you mess with it more then they can blame you. Bummer.

Well how embarrassing.....I was sure the scorpion x did not require a key to start it, just the key to encert the battery. I was set straight via a call with a jucied tech who assured me the scorpion x and the hyper scorpion required the key in the ignition which is under the seat. Low and behold, unexplainable to me, the bike works great and the controller shows 58 volts.

Now the only remaining test will be charging it next time. I think my sceptical mind got the best of me. No news from here on out will be good news.

See if charging it with the battery off gives a lower voltage number? Some BMS will do this. It can help the battery last longer not going quite to the maximum limit for most rides CONGRATULATIONS!
