Hi everyone, excited to join the community!

With my work starting return to office plans I figured it was the best time to get an ebike for the 13 mile commute! Got a Niner RLT e9 after cross-shopping it against the Canyon grail on(not in stock) and Specialized turbo creo evo (I thought 35nm torque was going to be too low + pricey).

Been about a month and 250 miles on the Niner and really loving it. Haven’t put gas in my car this month!

I ended up buying my bike online which saved me about $1,000 vs buying local but in hindsight I would buy locally if I had to do it again. I had an issue with the battery disconnecting due to the lock not securely engaging the battery which I ended up having to diagnose and fix on my own. After that though, the bike has been running flawlessly but doesn’t give me much confidence in getting support from Niner or the online retailer if anyone else goes wrong.

One thing that does bother me about the bike is the heavy wheelset and cheapo generic rear freewheel hub. Has anyone used Rolf Prima wheels on their ebike? I like this set: https://rolfprima.com/collections/outlet/products/demo-set-hyalite-25-650b-700c

Nice bike. Love the fenders and front basket. A fun bike that's very functional.
