I am riding a Specialized Creo Evo Comp since June of last year. After over 4000 miles, I really love the bike. I have toured with it pulling a BOB trailer with no issues. I did have a problem with the original motor after almost 3000 miles, but Specialized promptly replaced it and I’ve had no problems since. While the motor is far less powerful than many other ebikes, it seems to suit me fine. I’ve been a very strong rider for 40 years and after being diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer almost 8 years ago, I finally found that riding here in the mountains around Asheville NC was becoming extremely challenging. The Creo changed all that. I feel like a 35 year old again.

Hi I was a cross country coach and masters runner. I attended a nike running camp at Brevard College. What a beautiful area. I did a 20 + mile run with Priscilla Welch NYC marathon winner at age 42. My wife and I went to a club and watched families clogging Bill Stanley's? Good for you staying in shape with e bike. I developed a-fib and the e bike allows me to tailor my workouts depending on how the a-fib is treating me.

A big welcome to you Road Brother, I applaud you for getting back into the game, only this time with some assistance. That’s the beauty of e-biking, it’s there when you need it. Beside that, you’re dealing with an excellent company. You my friend have been blessed. EBR is a fantastic site. Its members are descent people willing to give advice when you need it. Good luck, ride safe and responsibly.

I am curious, any insights about the bob trailer? I have a virtual knock-off of the bob that I´m kinda hesitant
to use. It is basically identical in design, though I have re-enforced the load platform. Other riders have
disparaged axle mount trailers.

I’ve had my BOB for at least 15 years and it has worked out fine. While it can be difficult to deal with once you’re off the bike, for the most part it works well. It’s great on dirt and gravel roads and fits the bill for the Creo due to the lack of front mounting points for a rack.
