Hello to all EBF members. My name is John Stenglein and I live and ride bikes from my home in Middletown, NY. The country roads of Orange and Sullivan counties are at my doorstep for almost traffic free exploring by bicycle. I recently purchased a Reise and Muller Delite GT Nuvinci HS from Propel Bikes in Brooklyn, NY. My choice of this bike was largely due to a Delite bike review by Court on Youtube. This bike has been a life changer for me. Getting older has limited my ability to attack the hills and go the distances I had in the past. In addition, bent over posture on a road bike, foot pain from centralized pressure from cleats, and overall discomfort limited rides to 12 miles. I truly believed that revisiting my rides of five years ago was over. I purchased the Delite on September 6, 2018 and given rainy weather was not able to ride until Sept 9. I have ridden this bike a total of nine times since then, logging 295 miles. I can’t say enough about this bike. I know I am preaching to the choir here as you all have had similar experiences when you were first introduced to the benefits of a pedal-assist ebike. Gradients are no longer a factor in my choice of a route. Upright and comfortable, wind not a factor, refreshed and not spent at end of ride, the list goes on. Happy trails and rides to you, John.
