New EBike

Think I'll get rear motor with extra battery, thank you all for the help.
Another advantage of hub motor with this model, is that it has both cadence + torque sensor. The base mid-motor model one only has cadence sensor(although you could add torque sensor for extra cost). For you & your budget, you would only need the mid-motor one if you have significant hills to climb.

Think that might be a scam, I made purchase without calling Bixtrix first. Lady at Bixtrix didn't know about it. Hope I get my refund.

Hope you get your situation resolved with Bixtrix. The Bixtrix owner "Roshan" is very active on this board(go to the Bixtrix section of this board) & he`s usually responsive to people here.

The money is pending to come back to my account so it should be OK. Could be legit but something didn't seem right with the INDIEGOGO website your sent too.

Awe man! That’s a shitty start to what should be a great experience for you.
Once you’ve got it all sorted out and you’ve got your bike under you and hammering the miles out it’ll all have been worth it.
Hang in buddy....

Need my cash back or no ebike.

Yes sold bike last week, December-March I don't cycle to work. Use bike 9 months a year. I updated the bike when I bought it to a 500Watt motor and a 36Volt-14AH battery. Don't recommend these HOTEBIKEs to anybody, trouble after 6 weeks.
Most anything will be better than this one. Aventon Pace 500 ~1,700 CAD, no lights or rack. Ride1Up roughly the same. RAD City ~2,000 CAD with lights and all. A bit heavy.
Amego Infinite is a "shop brand" but looks good for the price and besides, they are in your area and are not an online seller, this is a real shop.

For city riding you (probably) don't need suspension fork or fat tires, though it won't hurt to have either one (or both). I would say that fat tires will provide more comfort than a cheap suspension fork. Rolling resistance (of fat tires) is hardly a factor in your scenario, with 500W motor, big battery and relatively short distance to work. Toronto hills are not that bad. Fatties are a bit heavier when you have to lift it. RAD Rover is perhaps the heaviest of all bikes mentioned here.

Any new recommendations, I appreciate all the help
I’m sure there are MD & HD the same as mine ready to ship. You’d have to contact and confirm delivery times etc. You’d have to order from China too. Or you could try the HD750 from BoltonEbikes in the US.

I’m sure BoltonEbikes just got a delivery in but you’d have to check.

They look great, but I don't think they would be comfortable on bumpy roads.
You might be right.... but Damn they are groovy and owners love them
Hey best of luck finding your bike
If you still are looking at Rad you gotta look at Voltbike also
Cheers

Are you looking to get a e-bike very soon(Winter is coming)? Or you can wait until closer to Spring time? You can wait when all the new 2021 models come out, if you're not in a rush. Besides checking the Amego e-bike shop & testing as many bikes that interest you, you can also consider the other e-bike brands that are available to order online only(take your time to decide).

I called Bixtrix and the lady had not heard of the company to purchase the bike from. Check out INDIEGOGO company make payment for bike, lots people have waited 2-3 years for products. And it's very difficult get refund.
