It’s likely the new Bosch systems will become available as early as this fall. That being said, the Nevo is a very new frame and I don’t anticipate it being redesigned right away for the new motor.
Usually when Bosch releases a new product the demand is very high so companies like R&M that sell a lot of bikes will usually implement the new system on part of the lineup. For example, this year the Kiox was released and it wasn’t an option on the Nevo because there are concerns about being able to fulfill the demand. I anticipate a similar strategy for next year with the new motor. The Nevo is their most popular bike and it was just redesigned for this year so it will probably get a revamp for 2021. If I had to bet money on this I would say the Nevo isn’t going to get the new motor for next year.
I know it’s not necessarily the greatest news as a consumer and in some ways as a shop, but these strategies are well thought out and they allow a reliable supply chain and it helps to keep prices relatively stable. When a frame is designed the costs can be very high for engineering and testing, these costs need to be spread out over a certain amount of production runs in order to properly amortize the costs. Under this thought process you might be able to determine which frames will or will not be redesigned for the new motor.
I hope this is helpful.
